"So What Do You Do for a Living...?"

Anyone who has interviewed for a job has been asked to talk about their professional experience. But the question comes in so many forms that we never know exactly what to say. "What do you do?" "What's your background?" "Unpack this for me." "What experience do you have in this area?" "Walk me through this (resume)."

On the other hand, we often hear from career coaches and advisors even more terms. Like you need a new: Elevator pitch; 30-second commercial; Sales pitch; Professional overview/summary; Value proposition or one of many other terms.

But what does it all mean? And how do you construct the material?

The great news: It's all the same thing - and it's a pretty easy thing to do! How?

About the Group Intensive

Join co-author of the multi-award-winning The 20-Minute Networking Meeting, Nathan A. Perez for an engaging Group Intensive focused on structuring and telling your professional story - for any situation. Though this session is led from a recruiting and hiring (Nathan's) perspective, it will cover what to mention when interviewing and networking and talking with others. You will work in an interactive setting with the group, and learn from a professional writing (also Nathan's) standpoint exactly how to structure your material for any given scenario, and most importantly - why.

Upon its development during the seminar, you will then have the chance to tweak it, tweak it some more, and practice it in a safe, open setting with Nathan and your group!
